Physio First was launched in 1952 to promote the highest standards of clinical practice in physiotherapy. We are here to help both the general public find highly qualified physiotherapists and to ensure that all practitioners, as members, have full access to training, latest news and continue in their professional development. You can search for a practitioner or to see the many benefits of becoming a member.
The AACP is a Clinical Interest Group (CIG) affiliated to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Its principal aim is the integration of Acupuncture into Physiotherapy Practice for the treatment of pain and systemic illness. There are almost 5,000 physiotherapists within AACP, working in the NHS and private practice. AACP maintains a register of Acupuncture practitioners and you can find Acupuncturists by using the Practitioner Search facility. AACP accredits Acupuncture training courses and these are found under the Training section of this site.
This Association provides a broad forum for enquiry, debate, and presentation of Energy Medicine concepts and therapies. The association does not exist to promote any particular therapy, but rather to look at the underlying principles.
